Our mission
The Stephen Michael Sules Foundation honors the legacy of Stephen Michael Sules by nourishing communities through food and empowering the next generation of culinary talent. Through scholarships, mentorships, food drives, and community-driven initiatives, we provide nutritious meals to individuals and families who are facing hunger, while also creating opportunities for aspiring chefs to further their education. Our mission is to create a lasting impact by blending generosity, education, and the shared love of food.
About Stephen
Stephen Michael Sules was born on June 27, 1991, the beloved son of Stephen and Lorraine Sules and brother to John, Chelsea, and Zoe. From a young age, Stephen found joy, peace, and purpose in the kitchen. Cooking was more than a hobby — it was his art form, his outlet, and his light forward in the world.
But Stephen’s love of food went beyond creativity — it was rooted in compassion. He was deeply involved in his community, regularly volunteering at his local church’s soup kitchen and food drives, preparing sandwiches and meals for those in need. Giving back through food was his way of connecting with others and spreading kindness, one meal at a time.
Stephen’s warmth, humor, and generosity touched everyone who knew him. His legacy lives on in every aspiring chef we support — and in every act of love shared around the table.
